A great way to try out our most popular Italian roast espresso blends! Four 1/2-pound bags (227gr) of our signature house blend espresso, espresso Nuevo blend, Velours de la Vallée blend and our African blend the Cosaque dark roast. Once you’ve tried these great Italian roasts, we’re convinced that you’ll become a fan! Enjoy!
Espresso Maison : Our most popular coffee. Our house blend from the Americas, dark/Italian roasted, a little spicy, smooth almost sweet, and never bitter. A truly great coffee, which we use for all our espresso, based beverages. You can’t go wrong. Medium body, clear, balanced acidity with aromas of hazelnuts and caramels, with a light to medium finish. To try it is to adopt it. The ultimate crowd pleaser.
Espresso Nuevo: An Italian roast designed to bridge the gap between our House blend Espresso and the heavier African dark roasts, the Nuevo is different blending of coffees from the American, roasted together, producing a coffee with good body, aromas of peppery caramel and hazelnuts and a smooth, medium finish. Perfect for those looking for a dark roast with a little more bite, but not bitterness.
Velours de la Vallée blend: A five origin blend using coffees from the Americas, Africa and Indonesia, roasted together dark / Italian. This coffee is characterised by its medium body, bold acidity, spicy / peppery aromas and a medium long finish. A truly Italian style blend, which lends itself well to espresso based drinks.
Cosaque Blend Dark roast: When we made this blend, the resulting flavour profile was nothing near what we expected. We were ready for a very strong, somewhat bitter bombshell of a blend. Couldn’t be farther from the truth! This is a blend of 5 African coffees, available roasted in each of our roast profiles (brown, dark or black). The coffee is rich, full-bodied, with bright acidity with a super long finish. The opulent richness is amazing!! Lots of flavours, caramels, chocolate, berries and even a floral tinge… really worth trying. The brown roast is smooth & rich, the dark /Italian roast is spicy & never-ending and the black /French roast is super smoky yet subtle in its strength, and again not bitter.
